We understand that visibility isn’t one-size-fits-all thing. So we create designs from quiet, in-community designs that are recognisable to the right people, to high-visibility festival, protest and statement pieces.

Our goal is to make it easier for people to find something that feels personally meaningful rather than one-style-fits-all Pride.

The Rainbow Stores offers more than 1,200 items of clothing, accessories and homewares. Our Pride merch includes t-shirts, hoodies, leggings, mugs, stickers, pins, bags, artwork and more, all designed to reflect a wide range of LGBTQ+ identities and styles.

Yes. The Rainbow Stores was founded by queer and trans people, and we do the designs ourselves, and occasionally from LGBTQ+ people we commission. So all our designs come from within the community. That means the references, symbols and visibility levels are intentional and made to help feel authentic and celebrate their identity.

We currently support 18 LGBTQ+ identities, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex, asexual, aromantic, agender, non binary, genderqueer, gender fluid, pansexual, polysexual, bigender, 2 Spirit and abrosexual. We also have intersectional identity items for aroace and trans lesbian people, plus LGBTQ+ and trans ally merch. And we’re looking to add more identities soon. Yes! Our clothing is made using various techniques, including direct-to-garment printing, sublimation, direct-to-film or embroidery. And every order is made on-demand on premium fabrics.

We’re not a generic print-on-demand Pride store. Every design is created from a lived queer and trans perspective, with a focus on identity, visibility, community recognition and body-inclusive fits. Our collections are built so you can find pieces that match not just your identity, but how you want to be seen — low-key, playful, political or out and proud.

Buying from The Rainbow Stores supports a small, community-led business that exists to serve LGBTQ+ people all year round — not just during Pride month. It also means you’re getting original designs created with real meaning, rather than mass-produced rainbow merchandise.

Our LGBTQ+ clothing store ships throughout the UK and worldwide. Our print partner has locations worldwide, so depending on where you are, your orders are printed and shipped from the facility that can do it most efficiently. However, we don’t have print facilities in the UK so all items for UK orders are imported.
