Our Subtle LGBTQ+ Clothing collection is about quiet visibility. Expressing your identity or feeling part of your community without broadcasting to the world. These are understated Pride clothes and accessories that allow you look great and feel comfortable at work, on a night out, at the gym or just chilling with friends. It includes things with pride flag colours or patterns that are less obvious, very subtle small flag motifs.

Choosing more subtle Pride clothing is about many things. We always say that while visibility is important, it must never come at the cost of feeling safe. But also we know that being visible simply isn’t always appropriate. At work, at a restaurant or bar that isn’t an LGBTQ+ venue, at the gym, or visiting cishet friends for example. So it’s important for those of us who still want to feel a connection to our community, to have options to do that, without feeling uncomfortable, or standing out too much. What Is Subtle LGBTQ+ Merch?

Subtle LGBTQ+ merch is designed to be less obvious. So for example our designs include small Pride flags, unobtrusive stripes, rainbows or LGBTQ+ symbols the left chest, Pride flag colours applied to fun designs, such as an ice lolly or lightning strike (where the focus is the item and not the pride flag), and more abstract or patterned use of Pride flag colours.

All of our subtle LGBTQ+ clothing, accessories and homewares are designed in house by LGBTQ+ people we love, and who know and understand the history of our community, the battles we have fought, and what it means to exist as ourselves. Cishet people simply don’t understand the nuances, the challenges and the joys of being lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, asexual, aromantic, agender, non-binary, genderqueer, gender-fluid, intersex or any of the other sexualities or gender identities in our wonderful rainbow community.

And we’re adding more all the time. If you like something you’ve seen in our shop, and you want it in your identity we can do that (as long as the flag fits into the existing design ethos) as no charge.
